$3,000 cobot with high accuracy

The page statistics of this blog show it: The interest in especially inexpensive MRK is definitely there. One of the most frequently visited pages here is the presentation of the Automata cobot. The demand for this cobot, which is financed by ABB, is apparently so great that the manufacturer no longer even advertises the price, but the interested party has to ask for the price. The last known price was 6,000 euros. Another low-priced Cobot comes from the French startup MIP. For about €10,000, you get a fixed cobot that has only 4 degrees of freedom, but is still movable thanks to a linear axis. This unusual approach is also being pursued by the Chinese startup Hitbot. After a Kickstarter campaign, it is now ready for the market. The Z-Arm 2140 c model is available for around $3,000. With a reach of 40 cm, it can lift 3 kg with a repeatability of 0.03 mm. The robot weighs 19 kg. Provided the programming is quite simple, it seems to be very suitable for applications such as the one shown in the video from a cost/benefit point of view. SMEs in particular are known to be more cautious when it comes to investments and do not want to/ cannot afford a robot from the "big boys" right away. The manufacturer advertises numerous programming options (from tablet to hand-held...) and the - probably theoretical - usability within 5 minutes.
The Cobot also seems to be ideal for trainees.

The author of this blog is available for market research or even a walk through your production/manufacturing at a fixed price(detail), and then make specific proposals for the use of cobots and other robots incl. funding opportunities. Both SMEs and large companies are visited. Among other things in Bavaria a 50% investment promotion is conceivable. The standard book on cobots also comes from him.
