Cobot with industrial robot speed

Cobots are designed to work together with humans. They should not endanger humans and have some disadvantages compared to industrial robots: Lower speed or also less payload. Because higher the payload, the more stable the arm must be constructed and the more it weighs, so that its braking distance is extended. In practice, however, people often work with the cobot only sporadically, so the disadvantages mentioned above are a drawback. Yaskawa has therefore developed the HC20XP, a cobot that outshines its cobot competitors with a reach of 170 cm at a payload of 20 kg. Its speed is demonstrated for the first time in new videos. If it is working with a human, it must of course travel more slowly.
With IP67, it is also suitable for harsh environments, but is likely to quickly cost more than €50,000. Its weight of 140 kg reduces spatial flexibility.

In own matter/ publicity
The author of this blog is available for market research or even a walk through of your production/manufacturing at a fixed price(detail), to then make specific proposals for the use of cobots and other robots including funding opportunities. Both SMEs and large companies are visited. Among other things in Bavaria a 50% investment promotion is conceivable. The standard book on cobots also comes from him.
