Neura Robotics

David Reger from Neura Robotics exclusively at the Robot Channel

One, if not the highlight at automatica was the first public presentation of Neura Robotics from Metzingen. The startup had aroused great expectations and - so it was heard - fully met or even exceeded them. More than 50 robots were shown on 500 square meters. Most of them were in action. Werner Hampel, like me a founding member of the German Robotics Association, took the opportunity to interview David Reger. The video has just been published. It contains some interesting data and other news.

Wide range

When I visited and met David Reger for the blog in February, I was surprised by his far-reaching strategic thinking. David Reger was aware that he can hardly become the market leader in enterprise cobots now. He is not just about industry, but about helping people in their everyday lives, whether at home or in care. Now, just a few months later, I am firmly 'convinced that this is the only way we can secure our standard of living. Reger, by the way, expresses himself sporadically in his own blog.

Not without pride and ulterior motive the hint that starting at 6:25 my heart's affair, the Opdra software, can be seen. It is the first software that can easily replace the interfaces previously required for automation. Compatible it is with any robot manufacturer. Neura Robotics, however, gave us the opportunity for a super showcase, which was also implemented completely autonomously by Neura project manager Miriam Jäger.
