Doosan shows the impressive reach and payload of the new H Series

Introduced in the summer, the first demo video of the impressive capabilities of the new H-series from Doosan is now available. Doosan was already on par with Universal Robots or Omron in terms of industrial usability and has now positioned itself even better. The price is not known, but it will probably be in the high-end range.

The new series consists of two models, one of which has a load capacity of high 25 kg with a reach of 150 cm. The dead weight of 75 kg reduces flexibility. The combination with a mobile robot from Omron is possible. Those who need a reach of 170 cm still get a payload of a proud 20 kg. All six axes of the series are equipped with torque sensors, so that the models can be flexibly placed in confined spaces. (For comparison: Kassow Robots achieves a reach of 180 cm with its 7 axes, Universal Robots 16 kg with 6 axes.)
It would be interesting to find out whether the Doosan can hold the arm stretched out in the video at full payload in the long term without wearing out faster.
