SMEs: funding opportunities for the purchase of cobots & robots

Webinar on 06.10.2020 at 14:00(Link)

Professionally familiar not only with robots, but also with subsidies, I would like to point out once again any existing funding opportunities, especially for SMEs. These can be many and varied, but they primarily take place at the state level. It is therefore difficult to make a general statement.
The subsidies are not always known (in the context of my subsidized consulting - see below - I point them out). Thuringia, for example, pays 50% and a maximum of 15,000 €. I.e. a typical Cobot can be then quite 50% promoted. This is also explicitly mentioned as a funding possibility: "Introduction of human-machine interaction in production, such as data glasses, touch screens, cobots (collaborative robots)" (link).

Bavaria still pays (until 31.12.20) up to 50% to a maximum of 50%(link) . Bavaria - as well as some other federal states - also offers generous regional subsidies. If an SME achieves at least 50% of the turnover with customers 50 km away from the location, 15% to 20% of the entire investment (with the exception of the land) is usually granted as a subsidy, provided that the investment volume is at least € 500,000 and jobs are created. (This subsidy does not apply in the greater Munich area, so be careful where you invest).

In Saxony, again, up to 40% can be funded if the production process is fundamentally changed. In Lower Saxony, less money is awarded, but still a maximum of € 10,000(link).

In the area of loans, KfW as well as various development banks of the federal states offer low-interest and, above all, easier-to-present loans. For example, KfW assumes a large part of the risk.

The video shows a typical application that should have a good chance of receiving funding. Funding decisions are usually issued before the investment is made, so the risk is limited (in the worst case, you've given it some thought and advice, but you don't get any money):

In own matter/ advertising
The author of this blog is available for market research or even a walk through your production/manufacturing or by phone based on photos/descriptions at a fixed price(detail), to then make concrete proposals for the use of cobots and other robots incl. funding opportunities. Both SMEs and large companies are visited. Among other things in Bavaria a 50% investment promotion is conceivable. The standard book about cobots also comes from him. In addition, he is very familiar with the KfW-Corona programs (incl. exemptions).
