Robot control by means of Xbox controller

There are many possible applications for cobots that we don't even think about today. For this reason, too, the market potential is huge. One is the use as a cameraman. Combined with a mobile robot, such a cameraman offers all the possibilities you need, especially in the TV studio. This is not necessarily about saving personnel, but rather about the relatively inexpensive possibility of jerk-free, fast and simple recording. The following video shows the solution of a company, especially developed for the film industry. The high price (75,000 $ to 250,000 $ or daily rent 4,000 €) lets quite own developments from Cobot with long arm and AGV/ AMR appear competitive. There is already a market for this in the USA and China. As is well known, a good camera no longer costs so much money. More interesting might be the approach of control by means of an Xbox controller, as shown in the video. This approach can be applied to many things - e.g. the use of a cobot as a third auxiliary arm in the workshop. With an appropriate payload, one would have a mobile crane that can lift a heavy workpiece out of a machine and thus help ergonomically.

The Kira shown in the video costs $250,000 and can be viewed in detail here (Mia costs €75,000).

The author of this blog is available for market research or even a walk through your production/manufacturing or by phone based on photos/descriptions at a fixed price(detail), to then make concrete proposals for the use of cobots and other robots incl. funding opportunities. Both SMEs and large companies are visited. Among other things in Bavaria a 50% investment promotion is conceivable. The standard book about cobots also comes from him. In addition, he is very familiar with the KfW-Corona programs (incl. exemptions).
