Incredible sensitivity

Still a research product, but surely soon ready for the market in a similar form: A robot arm that can rebuild the wooden tower "Jenga" more carefully than a human being by means of machine learning and extreme sensitivity. Excerpt from the text of the ORF: " The researchers combined camera recordings with touch sensors and fed an artificial neural network with this data. To shorten the learning time, the robot was instructed to group processes with the same or similar results - such as the collapse of the Jenga tower - into clusters. In this way, the robot had a steeper learning curve than with other methods and only needed about 300 trials instead of tens of thousands to achieve a good game result. "

The book "Introduction to Human-Machine Collaboration" gives you a good overview of the world of human-robot collaboration for little money. The author of this blog is available for a walk through your production/manufacturing(detail) to then provide concrete cobot suggestions.
