Universal Robots: UR10e gets stronger - 25% more payload

With unchanged other performance data (130 cm reach), the payload of the UR10e has been increased by an impressive 25% to 12.5 kg. This is particularly interesting for the popular application area of palletizing. Since the price remains unchanged, the customer ultimately gets more performance for the same money and can possibly avoid purchasing the more expensive UR16e. Retrofitting of models already delivered is apparently not planned.

Universal Robots sold around 9,000 cobots in 2020. The 10e probably accounted for a considerable share. The list price is €35,500, the 16e costs €39,000 with a range that is sometimes critically shorter at 40 cm.

The video shows an example of how much a cobot can relieve an employee. Until now, the employee lifted 7 tons per shift - now the UR10e does it.
