Covid-19 disinfection by means of Cobot and AGV

From Asia, the pictures of large-scale disinfections in outdoor areas against the Corona virus are known. This does not seem to be an issue here, but the disinfection of premises is. Relatively at the beginning of the pandemic, Blue Ocean 's solution had already been shown here. But actually this blog is about cobots. The combination of a Doosan cobot with an Omron AGV is therefore all the more pleasing. The cobot has a range of 1.30 m and a payload of 10 kg - but its price is not low at around €35,000. Omron's mobile obstacle-detecting vehicle costs another €30,000. By the way, it would be strong enough to pull another tank, so that the disinction robot could really drive very long distances. If the budget is limited, a cheaper Cobot could of course be used. The long range of the Doosan and the good payload are not really necessary here.

As can be seen in the video, people are detected so that the spraying process is then interrupted. Whether the unit in Germany would be allowed to drive and spray the arm at the same time is not clear to me spontaneously in view of the strict safety requirements in Germany.

The author of this blog is available for market research or even a walk through your production/manufacturing or by phone based on photos/descriptions at a fixed price(detail), to then make concrete proposals for the use of cobots and other robots incl. funding opportunities. Both SMEs and large companies are visited. Among other things in Bavaria a 50% investment promotion is conceivable. The standard book on cobots also comes from him.
