Case study: High-precision glass processing with Rethink Robotics

Rethink Robotics hat mit dem Sawyer einen besonders einprägsamen und auch einfach zu programmierenden Cobot geschaffen. Nicht minder interessant ist der nachfolgend gezeigte Anwendungsfall. Sofern ich es richtig verstehe, werden Kanten und Ecken eines feinen Glases am Band abgeklopft bzw. gefräst. Danach wird das Glasplättchen abgelegt und ein Papier aufgelegt. Der Cobot bewegt sich dabei in mittlerer Geschwindigkeit. Die Einrichtungszeit soll bei nur 60 Minuten gelegen haben.
