For beginners with a low budget: used robots

ABB pointed out to me today that their robots are very durable and can continue to be used after a major overhaul. Any overhauled robot can be upgraded with the latest control version to provide contemporary ease of use. I would like to pass on this thought here. Because I always find that blog articles about inexpensive robots enjoy great popularity. However, if you are on a tight budget, use a robot only sporadically, or just want to try it out for a while, you can also buy an inexpensive used robot from a well-known manufacturer instead of a cheap new robot.

The search for a used Cobot is a bit more tedious, because on the one hand there are not so many yet and on the other hand they have not been on the market for so long. But still, it is worth a try. Some dealers also offer exhibition pieces (exemplary link). For a real first contact, renting a cobot can also be an option (exemplary link). I think that once you have "tasted blood", you will quickly find other applications for a cobot and quickly buy a new one to use it more intensively - perhaps even at different workplaces.

The video shows, among other things, the stock of used robots:

The author of this blog is available for market research or even a walk through your production/manufacturing or by phone based on photos/descriptions at a fixed price(detail), to then make concrete proposals for the use of cobots and other robots incl. funding opportunities. Both SMEs and large companies are visited. Among other things in Bavaria a 50% investment promotion is conceivable. The standard book about cobots also comes from him. In addition, he is very familiar with the KfW-Corona programs (incl. exemptions).
