Kassow Robots: Bosch Rexroth becomes majority shareholder

The Danish specialist for 7-axis fast cobots has gained a strategically thinking majority shareholder in Bosch Rexroth. More info can be found in the official announcement. A little opinion on my part: The commitment shows that Bosch Rexroth not only believes in the market, but especially in the company. This is not surprising, since Kristian Kassow has already co-founded Universal Robots and has four models in the program with little effort. The little effort mentioned refers to the number of employees. I don't think any other cobot manufacturer has so few employees.

It will be interesting to see whether the various robotics activities are linked. For example, Bosch Rexroth has components for mobile robotics in its range. Even better known, of course, is APAS, the cobot with the protective skin, which is in no way in competition with Kassow. Kassow Robotics could receive support in matters relating to artificial intelligence. Bosch Rexorth is well on the way in this area.
